SOMETHING NEW FOR THE ADULT WINTER READ 2021:
 
This year’s Winter READ Challenge, “Books Like Us,”  is sponsored by Simon and Schuster (S&S). Prizes will include book collections and virtual author visits. Ten (10) winning schools or libraries will each get a collection of fifty (50) books from the “Books Like Us” collection. Happy reading!!

Let’s get started!  Go online, download the app, or call 715-536-7191 to request a printed form and schedule a curbside pick up.

What is Beanstack?
Beanstack is a subscription library tool that is primarily used as a digital reading program management system.

How does the reading program function work?
Similar to what we used for the Summer READ 2020, we are forging ahead with the Adult Winter READ using Beanstack.  This challenge is ONLY for those age 18+.  If you registered for the 2020 Summer READ, your account remains.  You will choose this Challenge once you are logged into your account.

Beanstack allows you to:

  • Log reading by number of books read this time around and complete activities
  • Receive electronic badges
  • Be notified of prizes earned
  • Write book reviews
  • Scan ISBN code on the back of the book for easy entry

Formats available this winter:

  • Online
  • Digital option with Android and iOS download app
  • Paper option to complete on the back and drop in the entry box found near the library entrance
