Darkest Hour (2017)

Gary Oldman won an Academy Award for Best Actor in his portrayal of Winston Churchill in this biographical war drama. This intense film focuses on Churchill’s early days as Prime Minister during WWII. With many skeptics questioning him, and a possible vote of no confidence looming, Churchhill is resolute in his beliefs.

The Big Year (2011)

This comedy film is based off a book subtitled, A Tale of Man, Nature and Fowl Obsession, by Mark Obascik. Three birders, played by mega comedy stars, Steve Martin, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson, compete in the yearly competition to see who can spot and identify the most birds. Who will ultimately win in the end, and will it be the competition or something worth much more?
